123 Hewletts Rd, Mt Maunganui

The project is the upgrade of the existing building for Gerrand Floorings at 123 Hewletts Rd, Mt Maunganui.

The original building was constructed in 1995 and was due for an overall upgrade to reflect the standing of the business in the rapidly growing local community.

The scope is a full re-clad, new enlarged window joinery, internal entry upgrade, addition of a feature stair and new lift to the entrance void space, full office, sales office and meeting room reconfiguration.  Addition of new building air conditioning system.  All existing power, lighting and services systems to be upgraded.

A new 3 x 6M digital menu board is located on the eastern facade, providing content and messaging to the thousands of cars that use Hewletts Rd each day.

The business continued to operate through the project upgrade, requiring the works to be competed in two stages. Project works commenced on site March 2020 and were completed December 2020.
