Karori Crescent House

The project entails a significant renovation and remodelling of the existing house located in Karori crescent, just off Paritai Dr, in Orakei.  The site has spectacular views over North Head, the inner harbour, Rangitoto and out to the channel.

 The existing floor layout has been substantially altered and extended to improve the flow of internal spaces, maximising the views out to the north.

 The materiality applied to the new ranges from cast insitu board marked concrete, cedar vertical board, folded seam roofing externally, included all joinery being replaced with new double glazed unit.   Internally, Oak flooring,  Travertine, Egyptian Limestone offset against the clean wall finishes.  Ducted air conditioning installed throughout.

Spatially, the dining and family areas flow out to the northern covered loggia area with a built in BBQ, where you can sit and enjoy the spectacular views.  The project was completed late 2020.
